Monthly maintenance fees

Monthly maintenance fees are charged per statement period. Members can avoid this fee on some accounts if the required minimum balance is maintained as specified.

Each Checking Account is allotted two non-sufficient funds (NSF) Fee Free days each calendar year. NSF fees are waived the first two days the account incurs one or more NSF items. Once NSF Fee Free Days have been exhausted, an NSF fee is assessed for each item denied or returned for insufficient funds (excluding identified Re-presentments). “Re-presentment” occurs when an item that was returned unpaid is presented again by a merchant or other person for payment.

    2. Fee is charged if there is a balance in the account on the statement date.
    3. Fee is charged if the account is below the minimum balance on the statement date.
    4. Fee is charged if the account falls below the minimum balance at any time during the statement period.
    5. NSF Fee Free Days are the first two days of a calendar year in which NSF Fees would otherwise be incurred.

    7. When you use a non-CashPoints ATM, the owner/operator of the ATM or any network used may also charge you fees.
    8. When you use a non-CashPoints ATM, the ATM operator may charge a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a transaction.
    9. Visa applies a fee to any international transaction. The fee is 1% of the U.S. dollar amount of the international transaction. An international transaction includes (a) any transaction made in a foreign country, and (b) any transaction made or processed outside of the United States. Consult your cardholder agreement for more information on how this fee is calculated and when it is charged. Your cardholder agreement can be found on our Account Disclosures page.
    10. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. APR is your cost over the loan term expressed as a rate. The variable APR for purchases and balance transfers equals the U.S. Prime Rate plus a margin of between 4.50% and 7.50% based on your creditworthiness at account opening. The variable APR is subject to change with the U.S. Prime Rate as published in The Wall Street Journal on the first day of your billing period that begins in January, April, July, and October. Cash Advances have a fixed APR of 18.00%. The APR will not exceed the maximum permitted by applicable law.
    11. Interest begins to accrue on purchases and balance transfers from the day the transaction is added to the daily balance and continues to accrue until the total amount owed is paid. You can avoid paying interest on purchases and balance transfers if you pay the entire balance for the prior billing cycle by the payment due date in the current billing cycle. You cannot avoid paying interest on cash advances. Interest begins to accrue on advanced amount immediately.
    12. For each financial transaction at a CashPoints, Visa, or PLUS ATM.
    13. Monthly fee charged after 12 months of inactivity. See the Gift Card Cardholder Agreement, a link to which can be found on our Account Disclosures & Brochures page, for more information.
    14. Lessees receive two keys for each box. If both keys are lost, the box must be drilled and the drill fee is charged.
    15. Fee charged if rent is not collected within 60 days of due date.
    16. Fee waived for certain categories of members and for any check in the amount of $500 or more.
    17. $0 for member-requested copies in connection with audits and court orders, $0 for other copy requests of 10 items or less, $1 per item for other copy requests after the first 10 items, except as prohibited by law. Checks and statements can also be viewed and printed from Member Access for 24 months [checks] and 18 months [statements] at no charge.
