Advisory Boards
Member volunteers are a valuable resource for our member-owned cooperative. SECU has 3,200 member volunteers who serve across the state on local Advisory Boards.
Each SECU branch has an Advisory Board, comprised of up to 12 volunteers who serve as an important link to connect our membership with our staff and Board of Directors, another vital group of member volunteers. Advisory Boards meet quarterly to receive organization updates and provide valuable feedback to help SECU best meet the needs of our members.
These volunteers also represent SECU at local and community events and actively promote our products and services. If you are interested in becoming an Advisory Board volunteer, email advisoryboards@ncsecu.org for more information.
