You can wire money with cash, from your Checking, Share, Money Market Share or CashPoints® Global account, or from a cashier’s check or money order.- $10 domestic transfer fee
- $25 international transfer fee
It can take up to 2 business days to process a request.2 Once processed, all wire transfers are considered final.
Receiving Wire Transfers
There’s no fee to receive wire deposits in your account. The following information2 is needed to receive a wire transfer:- Name as appears on your account
- Account number where funds should be deposited
- SECU’s ABA Routing Number – 253177049
- SECU’s receiving address – State Employees’ Credit Union (State ECU Raleigh), Raleigh NC, 27605
- (Optional) SECU’s Non-Monetary SWIFT code – SMCUUS31
Recurring Wire Transfers
If you often send wires to the same recipient/beneficiary account, you can use a recurring wire number to process requests through Member Access.To set up the recurring wire number, send an initial transfer by contacting your local branch or our 24/7 Member Services, and request to establish a recurring wire number. You can use this number in the future to initiate transfers through Member Access.
