Step 1: Open Your New Account

Open a new Checking or CashPoints® Global account online.1, 2 Your account comes with a Visa® debit card that can be added to your digital wallet for secure, contactless payments with merchants online and worldwide.

Step 2: Deposit Funds

Get direct deposit in your new Credit Union account or deposit checks with Mobile Check Deposit through our Mobile App.2

Step 3: Set Up Payments and Transfers

Set up BillPay and manage your bills right from your mobile device,2 or contact service providers directly to update payment authorizations to your new account or debit card number.3

When you’re ready to close your old account, confirm all outstanding items have cleared and contact your old financial institution.4 Destroy any associated checks, cards or deposit tickets—look for an SECU shred event in your area for a safe and secure way to dispose of these items.
